How can I get to the processor on a G4 Titanium 550/mgh
I want to switch out to another machine like a G3 powerbook 300/mgh. Can it be done?

You can't go to a G3. But you might be able to go to one of these: http://www.ifixit.com/Mac-Parts/PowerBoo...
