Some Part of iPhone Screen Unresponsive

Hi,

Some portion of my IPhone screen is unresponsive, it takes a couple of taps before it selects an item.

Do I need to change the screen to get this fixed?

Is the screen cracked? can you give us a little bit more of information?

The screen is not cracked, Looks normal.

Except for the fact that it takes a couple of taps or a strong press to respond.

Some parts do not work at all, Like I cannot manually pull down the notification area.

Has the phone been worked on before? Has it been water damaged?

Mayer updated it just now, had everything in about section but nothing in the summary section :)

Keep the power button and home button pressed while the phone is on until you see the apple logo. If that doesn't work I would definitely try a new screen on it to see if this solves the issue.

The phone works quite normal, Startsup and Shutsdown as expected.

Only that it takes a couple of taps to selects items on some part of the screen. Like say you need to tap the letter "a" like five times before it appears in the textbox.
