wrong DVD connector sata instead of atapi

macbook pro 17 A1229 core 2 duo

I have wanted to install new DVD drive in my macbook pro, but I have bought dvd drive with slim SATA connector, instead the one with ATAPI. Is there any cable or slim adapter that can help me? Because this new drive would be great, but I can not attach it to the cable. Thanx in advance.

Options

The 17" model has a little thicker drive than the standard MacBook PATA drive so it is pretty specific as to the correct part.
