Tried new batteries and different charger, and replaced Mag Safe Board and Battery Connector. Problem remains. Battery shows 0% and says Not Charging. Won't power on without AC, and immediately shuts down when power is disconnected. Reset SMC and Pram. When I removed battery while connected to power, battery indicator goes from Not Charging to No Battery present

Your battery is dead. Play Taps, get a new one, and move on with life.

Thanks ! For the useful response. I tried several new batteries before replacing the battery connector and MagSafe port. Didn't work!
