Why is my screen flickering

Hi there, My Iphone 4S was operating fine untill I dropped it. The phone was turned on when I dropped it.

I picked it up and the screen was shattered, real bad to the extent the phone could not be turned off. The screen instantly had different colors across the screen. It turned itself off when the battery finally went flat.

So I brought a replacement screen and replaced it today. I charged the phone and then turned it on.

However, when turned on, the screen again keeps changing colors to red, black, green etc then colored stripes across the screen, fading in and out and different colors. Occasionally it will come up with the screen how it should be but in a red back ground, then change color again...colors skipping across the screen.

I have turned it off. Can I fix this?

I can not use the phone because I can not see the screen...

I had no problem replacing the screen etc, not a hard job and 99.99% sure everything is back how it should be.

Can I fix this? what can be the problem.
