Some keys such as F11, delete and down button on my laptop are not sensing anything when i pressed them. Is it problem caused by the windows 8 update or just the keyboard problem which i need to replace?

Yes. it is a keypad fault, recently issue Dell notebooks having keypad and display fault as common. you have to replace new keyboard
