WiFi iPhone 5 not working
I am measuring a short on antennae input on logic board without antennae.
does that mean 339s0171 is faulty and can it be replaced
Is this a good question?

Yes. replace it

Um, how would I do that? does it pop out/in, or does it need soldering?
It's soldered on. Problem is that even if it was replaced it will also require getting the NAND flash memory chip (hard drive for example) to be reprogrammed with the new Wi-Fi chip's MAC address.
Without reprogram the replacement Wi-Fi chip won't work with the phone.

You might have measured it wrong. Wifi antenna connector is grounded.

I'm not sure that you read my question.
I have the WIFI antenna disconnected with it disconnected the input to logic board or wifi antennae input is measuring 0 ohms.
Does this go to wifi chip 339s0171 directly or through some other interface. I cannot find any circuits.
