my mac charger has this clicking sound in the magnet and produces a alternating flashing faint red light and and a green light.it's now useless since it does not charge how do i repair it

You would probably spend your energies better elsewhere. I would be concerned that it might damage my machine even if it was repaired. But if you have to, look at the 6 guides listed under the adapter icon.
