How to replace a Broken LCD ribbon connector on a iPad A1458

While replacing a broken screen on a iPad A1458 I broke the LCD ribbon connector does anyone know what I would need and how to replace the ribbon connector?

At first, I thought you mean you broke the LCD ribbon itself. I was going to be really impressed. Nobody has ever shown me that before!

Sounds like you are saying that your broke the LCD flex fpc connector on the board. That is a bummer, but it is repairable.

It isn't a DIY job, that is board level microsoldering--I just did one yesterday that came to me with a ripped pad from another one of the US professional microsolderers. Definitely not the place to start your microsoldering career.

If you just broke off the little clip that holds the ribbon into the connector, there is an easy fix for that.
