isopropyl alcohol or regular alcohol for water damage.
Is it fine to use regular 95% medical alcohol for water damage instead of isopropyl alcohol?
Is this a good question?

Your 95% is only 5% water and probably less water than most off the shelf isopropyls. I use methanol as it is usually purer.

You can also use it in alcohol lamps as it doesn't sputter from H2O contamination.
Ishay Frenkel, not sure what you are referring to as "medical alcohol" (our medical alcohol is still isopropyl), but yes it is okay to use. Hope this helps, good luck.

I like a bit of grain alcohol as you can take a nip while you're cleaning ;-}
