Why wont my galaxy s4 turn on

the phone was fine and nothing was wrong when i did my usual things like texting and playing games and etc... but when i turned my phone off and put it on the charger, it was charging then an hour later i tryed to turn it on and it wont turn on at all i have tried turn it on(holding the power button down) multiple times hopping it would turn on but no use, now i am curious if i can get it fixed or if i need to get professional help or if i need to get a new phone.
