Front facing camera moved slightly to the left

Hello guys,

I just have a problem on my iPhone 6 front facing camera,

It moved slightly to the left, is it possible to fix it by myself ?

If yes, what should I do ?

Do I Just use some tools to push it back to the original position ?

Here's an image to show how's it moved:

I don't see it in your image. In any case the part does not have much wiggle room if it is truly off center.

Given the newness of the phone I would recommend you checkout a few other phones to see if they look the same. If you do note an issue with your images I would bring the phone in to an Apple Store for repair. I would not try to alter things here as you are more likely going to mess up the alignment more so or damage the part in the process.

Front camera has a bracket glued to the inside of the screen.

open up and if bracket is still glued in place then the camera isn't going to sit any differently . If it annoys you that much go to apple

There is a little strip between glass and front camera, and it's supposed to me, that this strip was unglued and moved.

Since I do screen replacements for iPhones on a daily basis especially iPhone 5 and 6 series what I do is just remove the grey foam sponge thing that is stuck onto the camera around the circle.

That way when the phone is put back together you don't see it obviously being not perfectly in the middle.

This does not affect the functionality of the camera though.

Do make sure to clean the front camera if the previous screen had cracked glass missing which would expose the front camera lens to dust.

I would just live with it. Really like 99.9% of my clients that come in to replace their screen do not care if it's not perfectly aligned in the middle.

I suppose you could use like B7000 liquid glue to get it in place but the problem is getting it aligned first and it takes some time for it to set well.

I requested Express Replacement Service and ask Apple to send me a replacement about 3 months ago because my Apple Care+ service is nearly due. After 3 months of using it the front camera aligned again, but this time I decided to live with it even my third iPhone 6 was perfect, as long as the battery is brand-new!

I just had the same problem.

It seems like the front camera of the brand new iPhones moves a bit to the left.

I'll wait a couples of day and hope Apple to response about these issue.

Every iPhone 6 I've had witch was about 4, all had this stupid problem. I had mad odc over it and still do, but the hassle of me getting phones replaced wasn't worth it to me, knowing it's just going to happen again.. Lol. I just decided to live with it

I replaced the screen that came without the camera holder so had to move it across. The question remains what Glue or Adhesive is recommend to attach the holder firmly in a new screen?

I had the same problem so I opened up the iPhone to check inside. What I found was that the little glued ring on the camera was moved. If you are careful when taking it off, you can try putting it back on again. However the "ring" is very fragile (and mine was wrinkled) so i didn't put it back on.

I didn't have any problems with it so far.

The only downside I can think of is that the camera is more vulnerable to dust, however this won't be too bad because the ring is really small.
