Front camera and light sensor not working

Hi, I replaced the rear camera of an iphone 5; which works great, but since I did, the front camera and light sensor does'nt work anymore, I try with another one so I would say that the problem come either from the connector or from some of smd capacitor that are used for it, so first I would like to know how can I check which ones is faulty? And how is it hard to change, what would I need and finnaly if it is too hard to do I would like to know a good store in Europe to do it.

I have some tools, such as a multimeter, for testing.

Can you use the earpiece speaker? The front camera flex assembly comes with not only the front camera but the light sensor, one of the MICs and the earpiece speaker metal contactors.

If all functions failed, that may be the problem of the flex. If only some of the function failed, that maybe the problem of connector (check if some of the pins are broken or if they are connected very well).

Replace the connector is hard in fact. You need such professional tools as absorb gun to remove the broken connector, soldering tool and a kind of special glue to solder the PCB connector
