Is this glass replacemente good? Also for smart cover?

Hi all, and thanks a lot for all your thread and guides.

I have an iPad Mini with glass broken and I have ordered the replacement part.

Now is arrived and the flex does not have resistors and chips that some users say they are the magnetic sensors for lock/unlock.

If I use it anyway, will the smart cover work? Or the sensors/chips are needed?

Hey, I got the answer from our professional man. What you got is fake and the worst one, not the absolutely original. That's mine which is original, it has what all the sensor you said. What's more, the magnetic can remove from the old glass and be used again.

Ok thanks a lot!

I've resent it to the seller and asked for an original one. Becouse in the photo of the auction there was the one with chips.

I study the theory of working smart cover. It seems that it functions by the magnetic and sensor alongside the right side. So i suppose the magnetic and sensor all comes together with the rear case, it doesn't matter with the glass. That's only my guess, but i am sure glass replacement will not affect the sleep function.
