make a MacBook Pro screen to external monitor

my old 13 inch macbook pro has a logic board problem and can't be used anymore. i already purchased a new retina mb and i wish i can use the old laptop screen for an external display for my new laptop. is there any way that could make that happen ? thanks

yes, i think selling in ebay is the best solution. do you have any idea how much my laptop will cost ? i hope i can get some bucks with that. and thanks for the reply
