Can I fix an iPhone that gets "error 16"?
This iPhone 5s had water damage and would not boot. Only showed the apple logo and then shut off again. I did a tear down and cleaned everything with isopropyl alcohol. When reassembled, it was still doing the same thing.
I then decided to try restoring in recovery mode (and later went with DFU mode). the phone gets almost done with restore and then crashes. iTunes then gives me the "error 16" message.
I read online that these issues could be symptomatic of a faulty logic board. Someone else said it was the baseband processor chip.
Any ideas?
Is this a good question?

Only other way you could try is with Tiny Umbrella? I've not done it myself, but heard this can help with alot of errors?
