Still havent solved my Backlight issue after 2 repairs.

Well from what I've researched that appeared related to my issue I replaced the inverter first and it didn't fix it so then I replaced the inverter cable and I still have the same issue of not being able to turn the brightness past the first level or two without the screen light cutting off. I'm sure its the only thing left that could be the problem, which is the backlight its self correct?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I agree with your thinking. You've progressed from easier and cheaper repairs to the more complicated and expensive. FWIW replacing only the backlight is a very complicated task. I would simply replace the entire display (a new backlight comes with a new display).

Have you connected to an external monitor to ensure this is not a GPU/VGC issue?
