Vertical lines after digitizer replacement

After replacing the digitizer, there are vertical lines down the left side of the screens. Any ideas?

It is the LCD, it is just very very very sensitive. The only solution is to replace the LCD.

My technique for getting the LCD out without this happening is to use two of the long thin black spudgers and slide bit by bit between the LCD and metal shields on both sides. About halfway down the LCD will pop out on its own. Be careful of *any* inconsistency in the frame, it will bind the LCD.

They just are such thin little guys, they can't stand any flexing.
