Hi, I do not think that there is a cost effective way to purchase a new and complete logic board as you are almost buying an entire phone. I would be cautious on any cheap board being sold as new and complete. Ebay sell new bare boards for educational purposes but they cannot be used. There are often used 'for parts' boards that need to be fixed and sometimes working ones on ebay for what ever they bid up to.

Yes, you buy a working iPhone 5 and remove the board. Unlike a computer, the logic board in a phone really *IS* the iPhone.
