Why are my fans running at full capacity?

I recently took my MacBook Air in for cleaning after I spilled water on it. The person who checked in my computer took a blow dryer to it and the store left it sitting for three days before anyone even opened the computer. Now I am stuck with a fan that is running at full speed as soon as the computer is started and it is slowing down the computer. How can this be fixed?

A blow dryer forces liquid deeper into the machine. Who ever did this is an absolute idiot. What kind of store was it?
