There are different varieties of these. A 45 war, 60 watt, and 80 watt. Also different connectors for newer and older machines. There should be a part number on it that looks like Axxx. If you can't see it please give us the last three figures of the serial number on the machine it's going on and we can direct you to the correct one.

still, where to get the cable? (needed for 60W and 80W power supplies) - the aliexpress seller has some replacement cables for sale, but with some mess in description. according to that seller all of them are the same... this stops me from purchasing the cable.

Older style - magsafe1 connectors. As for hardware, I thought those connectors were specific to the charger's capacity, not to the consumer: I might use the same charger both for 13" and 15" laptops, although I prefer the 80W model these days as the most universal one...
