Woke up and found my phone with a white spot.

I woke up this morning and when I checked my phone it had a black screen with a dim white spot in the middle. Here's a picture. My first thought was the screen mightve gone bad but even when I plug it into iTunes nothing happens.

After letting the phone die I charged it up and now I can use the phone except its constantly blinking and the display is still grayed out. Hopefully the phone will keep working like this until next month when I can get a new phone. Thanks for the help everyone.

Answer this question I have this problem too

did you try a hard reset to see if it does anything?

Yes I did but nothing happened.

So the phone finally died and when i tried to turn it on the battery screen looked gray (Picture). I'm going to try and charge it and see where I get from there when I get back home.

Your screen is damaged, you should replace the digitizer/LCD.

Even if the screen is damaged shouldn't I be able to connect it to iTunes and do a backup?

by

Yes you should. Does not look like a bad LCD by itself.
