Is the phone still water proof after this replacement?
After you replace the front screen is the phone still able to go underwater as the stock version of the galaxy s5?

By putting on a replacement the seal will not be as great as sunsungs screen
Just don't go jumping into pools

If you perform repairs according to the official procedures and use official parts, the phone should still be water proof.
Which means you're sxxxwed.

No absolutely not! I put mine in water and got water damaged! To start off the screen replacement was done by samsung.

And did samsung do something about it? Did they say their repair would keep it waterproof?

If you replace the screen, I wouldn’t risk it. You could buy a waterproof case, which would be much safer. If you really wanted to, you could try it. I don’t think it’s a good idea, though.
