Compatibility keyboard upper case top case?

Hi,

I have bought an old macbook, it's great but I want to replace the upper case because is very spoiled.

I have removed the old keyboard and now I don't know what replace part I have to buy. The old one have 613-6408 DD#1 part number, which one it's good for me ? Can I buy the new keyboard with silver cable even if I have the gold one ?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

All the non-unibody MacBooks should use the same physical/electrical connector for the upper case (keyboard/trackpad), so if you can, find one in your color without the apple logo key (newer version).

You can purchase the newer Upper Case directly from iFixit. They also have an excellent guide for replacement.
