Optical drive will not eject disc

I tried to burn a cd, but the optical drive did not recognize the disc, and did not eject it. Now it is impossible to remove the disc from the drive. I several times switched the system on and off. No result.

Please help.

Options

Restart and hold the mouse button down to eject a disk. There are a lot more remedies if you need them, just ask.

Thanks, but this doesn't work. The proposal of orhanmagia doesn't work either. Perhaps the optical drive is physically damaged

Mac or PC?

Update

On a Mac you have to open Terminal the Type DF the you will have a list of the drives in your mac then type : diskutil eject [the name of the CD, usually the last name on the list] and then it should be out, if you are using windows I do not know the solution...
