When breaking down ipad I tore the WI-FI Ribbon/Cable.

When breaking down my ipad I broke the logic card and tore the ribbon/cable and the wi-fi board. I am a novice at this and did more damage then it was worth.

Any way my Question is after I replaced both the logic and wi-fi boards My MobileMe Account does not reconize/locate my ipad any more. I can not load new info and contacts, ect. also it will not locate my ipad with MObileMe Family locate on the map feature. What did I do?? And What Can I Do To Fix This?

The iPad should be under warranty

I would call or get online with Apple and find out if they will swap your data from the bad board to the good one.

AFAIK the HD (data) for the iPad is stored in a chip on the logic board. When you swapped boards you lost your original data.

Good Luck,

N.
