Why is the motherboard getting so hot after 1 min of use?

When i turn on the iPhone 5c it does nothing. instead it makes the iPhone 5c motherboard very hot. like very hot like in 1 min after turning on. i can see the burn marks on the motherboard when i took the screen apart

Because the motherboard has developed a short circuit.

The electrons have found a way to race quickly from bat + to bat - without having the pesky task of going through all that durn circuitry of the whole phone.

Decreased resistance = increased flow = increased heat.
