Where to get a replacement for the display "case" (MBPR)?

Hi,

my MacBook Pro Retina (15'', Mid 2012) had a touch with the street. Now there are some dents in the aluminium.

I've found the topcase replacement but not any replacement for the aluminium part of the display. So the LCD isn't broken, only the back side with the luminous apple logo.

Thanks for help.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Try the parts catalogue. The MPBR is so new you may have to buy an almost functional unit from e-bay and do the swap yourself.

If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.

As I said … it's too new to have used parts available….keep an eye on that it can change.

You HAVE to buy a new top shell assembly. It is IMPOSSIBLE to remove the LCD from the case intact
