Important Logic Board #'s when searching for replacement
I would like to find out which #'s are imperative to match when buying a replacement logic board.
I am aware so far of:
Part #_ _ _ - _ _ _ _
Model #_ _ _ - _ _ _ _ _
Product EEE code contained in serial #
Processor # ex. T7400 SL9SK = 2.16 mhz
I don't know where to find the logic board's serial # on the board so I'm having difficulty determining the EEE code.
I want to buy the correct replacement board, but even used parts on eBay are very expensive and I don't want to screw this up.
If anyone has any advice on the important #'s I need to match up when finding a replacement logic board on a 13" MacBook, I would be very appreciative.
Or if I could find out my options in terms of boards that would fit and be compatible with my other components
I am willing to downgrade in processor speed, but am concerned the Core Duo boards won't fit in a case that a Core 2 Duo came out of. Or would be incompatible with my temp sensor connections(3 wall) or airport card.
Thanks to anyone that can help
Is this a good question?
