Power button not working

Hello

After replacing the screen on an Ipad mini the power button no longer functions. We followed this this page

Power button not working after screen repair

no joy unfortunately. We also tried a new screen altogther. Still no success. Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

None of the aftermarket screens can be used 'out of the box' without running into this problem occasionally. Did you tape it as directed? Was the second screen from a different supplier?

I would try a third screen known to work on another mini before looking elsewhere for the problem. It's going to bee home flex soldering or taping problem.
