How to replace iPhone 4 Storage?

I'm wondering how to, if it is even possible. Also where would I get the new memory stick and would I have to install iOS myself?

Options

iPhones do not have or allow memory upgrades. Back-up photos to your computer and other backup storage devices as needed. Keep only your favorite music on the iPhone.

my iphone 4 shutsdown and now does not even be detected by the itune and the battery doesnot charge.. i tried to replace the battery but the problem proceed.. how can i fix this.... help please
