unibody macs easier to repair?

I have a 17" MacBook Pro bought 2008-02. I watched someone disassemble & reassemble it, and I thought I couldn't do it. Are the new unibody MacBook Pros easier (for me, and I'm not a repair person) to disassemble and repair ?

Since I have no idea of your skill level or your degree of confidence I am including a step by step guide for unibodies. Generally if you study the guides and don't hurry you can probably do basic repairs. Good luck whatever you decide. Ralph

+ The screens are glued together and require a heat gun. I much prefer working on the earlier machines.
