Do you need to buy a certain size hdd?

I just bought an a1237 and I need to replace the hard drive and before I go buying something I want to know if I have to buy a certain size for the laptop or if it's just a regular hdd?

Yes - if you don't get the correct HD it will not fit or work. It must have a ZIF connector not SATA and it must be 1.8" form factor, 5mm thick.

You need to know the size and type of hard disk in the System before you purchase. There are various forms of hard disk, although most System use the SATA now.

In the Air's the "hard disk" is an SSD.
