I have changed my screen and followed it step by step everything where it should be! However when iv powered it up its flashing the apple sign on and off and goin no further what could this be?!

I would just try a soft reset before anything.

Hold the home and sleep button until it resets.

Start by double checking everything and cleaning the board and connectors. See if the phone will connect to iTunes, and update to the most recent iOS. A lot of replacement screens will only work if the phone is updated.

Will give that a go as it's not even got the iOS 7 on it, all connection are in right place and properly pressed down so it does come on just with the apple and the battery which I had problems with at first is obviously working thanks again will let you know if works
I have reset and attached it to iTunes began the restore and it comes back error it's also telling me when plugged in phone is in recovery mode any idea?!
what's the error code? Sometimes that will help find out if the phone has faulty hardware or software.
