maximum RAM for my MacBook core 2 duo mid 2009

processor 2.13 core 2 duo with 2gb 800mhz DDR2 SDRAM

some of the answer on the board said I could upgrade to 3.3GB/6GB or 8GB. I need your guys help to decide which one is the best and what is my maximum hard drive capacity.

Standard RAM: 2 GB Maximum RAM: 6 GB*

Details: 2 GB of RAM is installed as two 1 GB modules, no slots free.

*Apple officially supports a maximum of 4 GB of RAM but third-parties have been able to upgrade the system to 6 GB of RAM using one 2 GB and one 4 GB memory module.

I tried going from going from 2x2gb 4gb total and then 1x2gb and 1x4gb 6gb total but it still was not fast enough so I went to 2x4gb 8gb total and it was a big improvement
