Charging problem after spilled coffee.

Hi. I spilled about a half cup of coffee on my Macbook Air. As soon as it happened I turned it upside down and shut it off. After letting it sit for a while I turned it on and everything works fine except the charging. I have no light at all on the magsafe and the battery will not charge. When I plug it up it shows that's it's plugged in on the status bar and will run on the charger but the battery is not charging. I have cleaned the logic board and the DC board with alcohol and after putting it back together it's the same. I would really appreciate some advice I'm hoping it may be the DC board as I can't afford the logic board. I also didn't see any coffee or anything sticky on the logic board. Actually very little coffee got into it. Thank you for your time! Macbook Air mid 2013 11"

I have the same problem except worse. It wont turn on at all and when I put the magnetized charger cable on there is no green or orange light.

Does this mean the problem could be irreversible?

Should I take to the Apple store and have them run diagnostics?

Check the function of all your keys to see if it needs a top case replacement. Your diagnosis sounds correct. Try replacing the magsafe board and see if it solves your problem.
