Changing logic Board but no Activation on iTunes

Hello Folks

I just changed the logic board as described here. Because this is not the first time i am repairing an iPad i do have some skills. The iPad works well again, touch, Screen and NAND are ok. I connected it to iTunes and installed the sw 5.1.1 again. After reboot iunes says that the ipad needs to be replaced, activation step cant be finished. I need to contact apple.

Why is that ?

Thankful for any questions!

The logic board and the cellular module are paired. Apple will deny activation if the CPU and the baseband chip does not match

Hi Tom

Mans Thanks for your reply.

I supposed Sth like that and i found a Thread where a Guy was claiming about buying the logic Board but did Not getting any Info about the comms module which is neccessary.

I changed the comms module as well and after new recovery with iTunes the iPad works well.

So bad to know that there is a comms module left which is working but no able to pair with another logic board...
