My iMac 24" 3.06GHz won't boot past white screen after apple logo and just hangs on white screen. I believe it is a graphics card problem and would like to fix it myself. Do you have this part or a beeter one so I can upgrade as well? Thank you.

Officially, Apple provides some models with upgraded video options at the time of purchase, but the video is not intended to be upgraded by a third-party. However, based on disassembly photos and a variety of teardowns, it appears that some models have the video mounted on its own card and it is theoretically upgradable in these systems.
Your machine (or that card) is not on the list of machines with upgradeable cards.
