Half screen not showing
I have problem with my screen half of it is only a shadow and show only the upper one.
Is this a good question?

I'd suspect a LCD failure but before buying a screen you could verify the LVDS (video) cable connection to the main board and to the LCD panel and if you have the Apple miniDVI to VGA/DVI adapter you could also connect the MB to an external monitor to check the GPU (graphic processor unit) but IMO you logic board should be good.

thank you so much, i have connected thru miniDVI and shown no problem with the external monitor. anyway i will follow your advice and check the LVDS connection. By the way i have MacBook Pro 15" and rain spot shown on LCD. i resolved the problem by reformatting the system. Just additional information for all members. THANK YOU
