I have an Apple PowerBook G4 and Ive tried everything to recover the HD. I want to try DiskWarrior but I do not have another Mac Computer to use since my Mac is not booting up. Sorry, you just don't have the tools to do a repair. Call Apple (1-800-SOS-APPLE) and get an original installation disk for your computer. This should cost about $15.00. You can then boot from it and try to repair your disk. I would certainly look at replacing your hard drive given the age of your machine. For instructions on this we need to know exactly which G4 PowerBook you have.

UPDATE

Restart the machine, immediately push the disk all the way in and hold down the "C" key to force it to go to the optical drive.
