Where to get replacement plugs for logic board wires?

Greetings,

Where to get replacement plugs for logic board wires? The logic board replacement guide did not specify how to unplug them, and I pulled the wires out of and broke one of the speaker plugs and the backlight plug.

Also, how do I tell in what order the wires go into the plug?

Thanks

Charles Kensington, a few things you want to start off with. what are the last three digits of your serial number? this will allow us to properly identify your computer. Next you want to post a couple of images of the damaged connectors. That way, we can see what you see.

by

Serial # Z62

The plugs are completely broken off the end of the wires coming from the backlight. So it is just four lose black wires.

The same with the speaker wire. No plug. Just a black wire and a red wire.

So the backlight wire and the speaker wires have a broken connector. the receptacle on the logic board are still okay, it is just the ends of the cable that are broken?

It is the cable with four wires in step 24. It is using that guide that broke the plug. When I tried to unplug the cable the wires came out.

It says BKLGHT under the receptacle it goes into.

Hello. I got replacement plugs for the end of the backlight cable. How do I go about getting the wires into it? I expected it to be open and snap closed. Does it open somehow?

by

@ Charles Kensington, it might help if you at least tell us which connectors you got.

by

I am referring to the only connector you mentioned, the EZmate Molex.

Charles Kensington, BKLGHT = Inverter cable for backlight. For that I would replace the Inverter Cable part number 922-8281 Places like this as well as this one. which speaker wire? Left or right? To determine which speaker connector you need we need to know if it is the right or the left. Also, if you can measure the distance between the pins, I am certain we can find the right connector for you. Habitually Apple uses the EZmate Molex connectors.

I got an EZMate Molex connector like the one posted above. How do I get the wires in the riny holes? Is there a technique?
