iPhone 4S speaker stop working after a full battery dischange

I recently noticed that after a full battery discharge my iPhone 4S speaker does not work properly. The problem resolves after a few hours, but is annoying nonetheless.

Game sounds and music don’t work at all. Also the volume slider doesn't show when music is playing and volume keys wont work. I tried soft resets, changing settings and basically everything I can think of. Can anybody please help?

if the volume slider doesn't show up there can be 2 things.

1 your dock connector

2 headphone jack

it sounds more like a dock connector problem 2 me.

the speaker gets its power from the dock connector.
