Pins or SIM card contacts are broken on blackberry Z10

SIM card is not recognized and it looks that 1 or 2 pins on the SIM card tray are damaged or broken . Can this be repaired or replaced or all motherboard has to be changed . And where an you buy spare parts for Z10

This should be a relative new phone. If you are covered under warranty, I would try that first.

Hi Nabil,

Can you figure out if the pins are just damaged or if they are actually broken?

In case the pins are damaged, there might be a chance to simply but carefully bend them back into their original position, for example with a tiny item or tool (e.g. toothpick or mini screw driver). Make sure that you remove the battery first before you try any repair on the sim card reader.
