Go to the following site at Apple and download your manual and it has the different commands to use on the wheel and ring. Hope that is what you were looking for. When you go to the site click on the iPod on the top left side then scroll down the page to your iPod.

I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to- if you have the iPod pictured, it doesn't have anything in the way of a keyboard. Just the scrollwheel on the front. And that doesn't really need any explanation. :)
