no display after 5sec power button press

I have old 13" MacBook Pro and it was not in use for some months may be 6-7. It was not charging by Magsafe and the light in the front was off. I recently played with it and was able to switch it on after 5sec power button press. Now green light on MagSafe and bright white light can be seen when i turn on the computer. i can hear also the fan humming. But the display is zero. What can i do. Please suggest. Thanks
