As long as the new drive is SATA--your old drive is. Here is the how-to guide. Ralph

You will note the 320 GB Seagate drive is listed as a replacement. Ralph
Does it matter what version of SATA? I am thinking about swapping my 160GB out with a Seagate 500Gb Momentus 7200 RPM SATA-300. Would that work?
Will a 7200 RPM HDD use a lot more power than a 5400 one?
Thanks in advance
