Shorting the Power on Logic Board

I recently replaced the top case on my niece's Macbook. After a spill, it worked, with the exception of some of the keys. When I replaced the case, I can't get it to power on. Not sure if it's a bad power button on the Ebay case I bought, or I didn't connect something whilst putting it together.

Does anyone know how to short the power from the logic board? I've seen the photo of how to on the Pro, but it doesn't look the same.

The keyboard and track pad must be disconnected. On the logic board near the trackpad there are 2 power pads to power it on.
