How to remove scratches from the back of an iPhone?

I have some scratches on the back side of my black iPhone 3GS, and I want to know whether they can be removed, or if the case should be replaced. Please let me know.

There really isn't a way to remove them, if it's that bad, get the case replaced, but to prevent such in future, purchase a skin.

Yes, there are no goodd ways to remove the scrath if the problem it's too serious, you need exchange the back cover

depends how bad they are - you can polish the case, or use some stuff like brillo to give it a matte finish

there's no better way then polish it, toothpaste may help.
