IFYOO ZD-V108 is Unresponsive

IFYOO ZD-V108 is Unresponsive

If only some of the buttons work as intended on your IFYOO ZD-V108 controller, or none of the buttons work as intended, use this troubleshooting guide.

Causes

1

Sometimes, the system can’t identify the controller without a driver. The manual contains a link to the official driver.

  • Go to the website link to install the driver at https://gamepad-driver.ifyoo.net/
  • Press the support tab.
  • Scroll down until you see “Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / XP Driver and Testing Software of Gaming Controller” and click the download button based on your system.

If your system can’t recognize the device, try the Microsoft Xbox360 Controller driver.

2

Sometimes the system can’t identify the controller in general. Unfortunately, many systems can identify the driver for the Microsoft Xbox360 Controller. This solution is frequently used for Windows systems.

  •  Plug in the controller
  • Go to the device manager
  • Scroll down until you see “Xbox 360 Peripherals” and click the arrow into you see “Xbox 360 Controller for Windows”
  • Right-click and update the driver

If your system can’t recognize the device try updating the generic driver node.

3

If you attempt to play Steam games with the IFYOO ZD-V10, sometimes it will not work. There’s a chance it will automatically be under another archetype of controllers.

  • Click on Steam.
  • Under the “Steam” tab you will see “Settings” click it.
  • Scroll down until you see “Controller” with an icon of a controller and click it.
  • Turn on “Enable Steam Input for Xbox controllers”.
  • Turn on “Enable Steam Input for Generic Controllers”.

If Steam can’t recognize the device then try turning off “Enable Steam Input for PlayStation Controllers” node. It may conflict with the other Nodes.

4

Dust will sometimes block or falter the connection of the device.

  • Grab a bottle of compressed air with a red straw
  • Connect the red straw of the compressed air into first the IFYOO ZD-V108’s USB
  • Try to aim inside of the USB, preferably under the block.
  • Then press the trigger to clear any embedded dust in IFYOO ZD-V108’s USB

Unplug the device while doing this step and it’s recommended you repeat this step on the desired system’s USB

5

The cable is damaged in some way where it cannot connect to the device

  • Grab a USB of the IFYOO ZD-V108
  • Grab a USB cable tester
  • You would want to connect the USB to the tester
  • If no charge or lights are turning on, then the cable has shortened

If the cable has shortened, then you might want to consider replacing the cable entirely. A shortened cable will not connect at all and needs replacement.
