Make sure the battery is installed properly. Also make sure that the battery lock is in the closed position.

If your battery is not charged completely, plug the phone into the AC Adapter. Charge until the light on the AC Adapter turns from red to amber.

Bad motherboard ¶ 

Your phone may not start because of a problem with the motherboard. You will need to replace the motherboard to fix this.

Touch panel does not respond ¶ 

The touch screen doesn't seem to respond to a tap from the finger.

Dirty Screen ¶

Mini-SD card not registering ¶ 

Mini-SD card will not register with the phone or show up in the Wizard's options.

Mini-SD card not fully inserted ¶ 

This is the simplest and most common problem. Make sure mini-SD card is fully inserted into slot by listening for a click during insertion.

Your SD card may be defective. Try it in a different device, or try a different mini-SD card that is known to be functioning in the Wizard.

Bad motherboard ¶ 

Try mini-SD card in a different device to verify that it is functioning. If it is functioning, replace motherboard, as it is not detecting the card properly.

Buttons do not respond ¶ 

The buttons on the front panel of the phone or keyboard don't do anything.

Dirty button or board contacts ¶ 

There may be dirt interfering with the button connections. Dismantle the unit and clean the button and board contacts.
